About

Welcome to the International Network for Japanese Art (INJA), a source for up-to-date information on the field of Japanese art, including a database of worldwide collections of Japanese art and a calendar of current and upcoming exhibitions. Membership (limited to professionals in the field) provides access to the Directory of Japanese Art Specialists and additional resources. Connecting curators, scholars, and conservators of Japanese art worldwide, INJA is a collaboration between the Arts Dialogue Committee of the U.S.-Japan Conference on Cultural and Educational Interchange (CULCON) and the Clark Center for Japanese Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) with support from the Japan Foundation New York, the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission, Curatorial Exchange Program for Japanese Art Specialists at the Tokyo National Museum, and The Japanese Council of Art Museums. INJA was created and is maintained by a team at the Minneapolis Institute of Art with oversight from the INJA committee. For additional information, please contact INJA@artsmia.org.
