Message from the artist:
In this exhibition, in addition to the major works which I had created so far, I will exhibit some new creations which are reflecting my viewpoint of history. Among some 200 pieces I would like to encourage visitors to pay attention especially to two groups of works: the 130 pieces of traditional Japanese patterns embroidered with the full use of various Japanese embroidery techniques, and the series of furisode dedicated to the women who played important roles in the history, which are meant to be decorating their spirits. I look forward to meeting every one of you through my works.
